Privacy statement
Dutch Quarantine & Veterinary Services (hereafter: DQVS) respects your
privacy and understands that it is important to you that your privacy is not violated. Terefore, we are doing everything we can to treat and process the data you provide us with confidentially.  Our starting point is to treat and process the least amount of data as possible; all for your privacy.

The provisions of this privacy statement apply to everything that is on our website (http://www.dqvs.com), if you contact us via the contactform on our website, if you contact us by e-mail, and/or if you start a relationship with us as a customer.

We advise you to read this statement carefully so that you exactly know what we are doing on our behalf to protect your privacy. In general, you can expect the following from us with regard to our website:

  1. We do not monitor the visitors of our website. Which means: we only keep track of the amount of visitors that our website attrack;
  2. We do not check nor process your your IP address;
  3. We do not check nor process the place from where you visit our website;
  4. We do not use cookies on our website.

Contact moments
If you approach us by mail and/or via the contact form on our website, we will handle the information confidentially. We register your e-mailaddress, name and possibly your phone number, but we do this exclusively for the purpose for which you approach us. This means; we must be able to reach you to be able to answer your question(s). If we have answered your question(s), we will either delete your data or save it in the file if a collaboration is established. In case of a collaboration, we will conclude a confirmation/agreement with you, in which we again state how we deal with your data and privacy.

We will not use the provided information to contact you unsolicited, nor wil we send you an unsolicited newsletter or information about our company.  If a collaboration is established between you and our company, we will save your data only to the extent and for the time needed for the performance of the agreed asignment.

If no colaboration is established, we will delete all your data at the time that we conclude that no collaboration will arise from the moment that you have contacted us.

If you do become a customer of our company, we will save your data untill the moment that the client relationship with u ends. We will also delete your data upon your request, with observance of the legal retention periods.

Which data

Because you provide your personal data by filling in the contactform on our website or by using services provided by our company, DQVS is able to process this data. By using our services you agree with the processing of your personal data by DQVS.

DQVS can process the following personaal data:

  • First- and last name;
  • Address data;
  • Phone number;
  • E-mail address;
  • Date of birth;
  • Bank details;
  • Social security number;
  • Credit card details.

Foundations

The personal data of customers will be processed according to the foundation ‘the execution of an agreement’, namely: the agreed assignment as concluded between the customer and DQVS. If there is not yet conducted a contract between both parties , but the conclusion is in line with the expectation, the personal data of the (future) customer will be processed on the foundation ‘legitimate interest’.

Data of (possibly) future customers who fill in the contactform on the website will be processed on the foundation ‘legitimate interest’; the personal data of these prospects after all, will be processed to (possibly) establish an agreement between both parties.

Finally, personal data with regard to invoicing, among other things,  is processed on the basis of
‘legal obligation’.

What purpose

DQVS processes your personal data in the context of executing a contract concluded with you
assignment agreement, which also includes telephone or written (by e-mail or post)
contact you as a result of this agreement. In case there is not yet one
concluded agreement, DQVS processes your personal data to conclude such
agreement possible.

Personal data related to billing are processed to enable billing and
to meet the legal obligation regarding the retention period.

Term
DQVS does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary for the purposes for which you
data is collected to realize. This means that your personal data will be processed immediately
removed as soon as the customer relationship with you ends.
The personal data stored on the basis of a legal obligation, such as the
financial documents and invoices are kept for the legal term of 7 years.

Share with third parties
DQVS will only provide your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the implementation of
the assignment agreement, or to comply with a legal obligation. DQVS has
processor agreements concluded with all processors of personal data to which this
operations are outsourced by our company to ensure your privacy.

View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data at any time. YOU
can send a request for inspection, correction or removal to admin@AnimalsToFly.com. DQVS will
respond to your request as quickly as possible, but no later than within three weeks.

To file a complaint
You have the right to submit a complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (AP) if DQVS does it
abovementioned.

Security
Because we conduct a lot of electronic communication and then store your data on our computers
in the cloud (only with reputable parties that use an optimal safety level),
it is possible that your data will fall into the hands of third parties (for example hackers). Chance
however, we optimally minimize that. For example, our website has a so-called SSL certificate.
This is an encryption of the communication, so that the information cannot easily get into the hands
from third parties.
We also use virus scanners, we ensure that the software we use is up-to-date
and we only work with software suppliers that have a high level of security.
We also paid specific attention to the physical and organizational aspects
confidentiality of the information you provide us.
Finally, we have made clear agreements with the parties with whom we collaborate
privacy.
